Renault-Nissan Consulting is about recognising expertise
One of the goals of Renault-Nissan Consulting is to create value for our client, regardless of whether that client is a Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi entity or an external company, which could just as easily be an SME or a major corporate group. Your assignments will range from consultancy to training, and may be national or international, but they will always focus on the innovative issues surrounding corporate managerial and/or digital transformation and have a strong strategic dimension. These issues are key, not only for carmakers, but also for other industry sectors as diverse as aerospace and banking.

Renault-Nissan Consulting: a culture of continual learning
At Renault-Nissan Consulting, continual learning is the rule: never rest on your laurels - always carry on improving! Every year, each of our consultants receives between 20 and 40 hours of training selected from the very broad range of opportunities offered in the Renault Group catalogue of training programmes. These programmes focus primarily on practical expertise and soft skills, and for certain practices are further enhanced by learning expeditions to cutting-edge industrial facilities around the world. Based on the principle of short reporting lines, the careers of our people follow a development path that takes them from Consultant to Senior Consultant, Manager and, ultimately, Principal. Naturally, managerial responsibility increases with seniority.
A firm on the human scale that listens to its people
Do you aspire to working alongside top managers and experts nationally and internationally? Welcome to the world of Renault-Nissan Consulting, which assigns its consultants to strategic projects in leading corporate industrial groups. In addition to this opportunity to expand your network externally, you will also encounter decisive opportunities within the firm: with your peers and managers during the many interaction and experience-sharing opportunities that punctuate corporate life at Renault-Nissan Consulting. Your assignments are not imposed upon you: whether local or international, consultancy based or training focused, they are offered to you to reflect your aspirations and wishes in terms of mobility. As a company on the human scale, Renault-Nissan Consulting attaches very special importance to listening actively to its consultants through genuinely hands-on management.
Tell us about your job and key assignment
I manage a team of consultants with very different profiles working on an equally broad range of assignments. And I also conduct my own assignments. They cover training engineering, standards rollout, benchmark structuring, training, coaching and performance enhancement consultancy.
My job also involves delivering added value by working proactively to bring forward new proposals for clients and their business units.
Manager, Lean Manufacturing & Supply Chain
Tell us about your job and key assignments
My job involves working with clients internal to the Renault Group, Nissan and Mitsubishi, as well as external clients on solving issues around Operational Excellence.
So the assignments are extremely diverse. To give you just a few examples: PMO on Industry 4.0 activities, organisational efficiency analysis, and implementation of a method enabling an entity to introduce targets and action plans.
We work with a diverse range of business sectors and disciplines. So we must be ready and able to switch from one assignment to another involving very different issues. And even though, as consultants, we are part of a particular practice, we also have the opportunity to work across all aspects of the industrial and commercial value chain.
Senior Consultant, Engineering, Innovation Purchasing
What do you like most about your job
Experiencing different aspects of industry, supporting and implementing different production systems, and then returning to a client a few weeks later to see how those principles have been applied and the successes they’ve delivered, especially in terms of achieving performance targets, such as efficiency, quality and cost.
Senior Consultant, Lean Manufacturing & Supply Chain
What do you like most about working with Renault Nissan Consulting?
What I like most is being able to deal with practical issues in my consulting assignments. Our recommendations are rolled out operationally on the shop floor, so the outcomes of our work are clear to see.
Consultant, Engineering, Innovation & Purchasing
Which of your innate talents benefits you on a daily basis?
The fact that I find it easy to get to know people I haven’t met before, enjoy learning new things as much as focusing on issues I already know about, and capitalising on my experience.
What advice would you give an applicant who wants to join RNC?
You have to want to commit yourself to the Renault Group and the Alliance. Develop an expertise and learn how to address the needs of our internal and external clients.
Manager, Digital Transformation
Si Renault-Nissan Consulting était un verbe, que serait-ce ? Pourquoi ?
If RNC were a verb, it would be “to renew”. That’s because the firm has changed a lot over the last two years, and because those who’ve recently joined bring a critical eye to their assignments and the way the firm operates. This allows us to work in an environment that is constantly improving and to push ourselves continually towards performing better.
